A couple of new faces have shown up at TBR headquarters over the last couple of weeks, and I thought it was about time to introduce them since most of them will be driving in their first official Iracing Special Event in TBR colours this coming weekend at the 24hrs of Le Mans.
So in no particular order….
Erwan Woudstra – 17yr old Dutch prototype driver who can wheel a GT when needed. This weekend will be driving the HPD at Lemons – also likes the LMP1 Tractor (but we wont hold that against him)
Nick Harwood – not 17yr old racer from the US who drifted in to sim-racing to improve his track skills for his Nissan GTR. Prefers GT cars with an aim toward endurance and team events. Comes as part of a 3 man addition along with….
Joe Janowski – Another US GT driver coming to sim-racing from real life kart racing where he was multiple US champion. Has race-craft in spades and can set-up a car to boot.
Matt Dorrington – UK based Matt is the last of the trio to join together, and when he isn’t installing a new bathroom, races GT cars in team and endurance events.
Pablo Valenzuela – All the way from Chile, Pablo has raced with Cristian in the PRL league for a couple of seasons…. and races downhill mountain bikes in his spare time – so is clearly a nutter!
Finally, Andreas Forss – A Swedish kart racer and since we’re down to just 2 root vegetables after a bunch of them left, we thought we would give Andreas a try – I mean, he’s raced karts at the highest level (still races occasionally) and since joining iRacing has had a steady rise through the ranks.
So welcome to the team boys – hopefully you will be happy here and we look forward to racing with you all in the future.
